Joel Guha, a passionate writer, a student of XIIth standard, dwells from the small town, Siliguri, West Bengal. Apart from being a published author, she is also an avid debater and takes immense interest in Indian politics, and has a knack for cooking and trying all kinds of different dishes, wherever she goes. She published her first poetry book at the age of fifteen, and has been writing since when she was in the eighth standard. With a life full of transition, she has stayed enthusiastic about meeting more people, and learning new things, filling it in her little sack of experiences in life. She claims to have been inspired by writers like Rupi Kaur and Shashi Tharoor, and has also always been keenly interested in singing, having gained a junior diploma for the same. Having been to over ten schools by now because of her father’s transferable job, she states that, ‘People aren’t permanent in life. What stays permanent, are the poems and the treasured memories which we keep with ourselves.”
